I also visited RDIC (Resources Development International - Cambodia) while in Phnom Penh. They have a bunch of research projects going on, one of them is raising goats and improving the genetics of goats in Cambodia. They also use the goat manure to fertilize the fish ponds. I wonder about the fertilization part though, goats don't poop in large viscous piles like say pigs or cows, they poop pellets. I am curious as to how well these pellets dissolve in the water and how well their nutrients are taken up compared to bovine manure.
