Well of course my camera would crap out after I got pictures of all the cool man-eating reptiles... oh well. Anywho on the other side of the wall was a pond filled with Tilapia fish. They fed some sort of grass to the fish, let them breed like rabbits for a week at a time and then once a week scoop out the larger ones and dump them on this side of the wall as crocodile munchies. The owner said he was quite impressed with tilapia in terms of their being so easy to raise. Really I have only read one other instance of tilapia being raised as animal feed (the other was for fish meal [which I question the economics of]). Apparently they are the cheapest source of protein in the area, trumping even offal.
