Mmmmmmm, nothing like whole fried birdie bites (minus the feathers) at your local bus stop! Yep, we got off the bus (one of many time [but that, and the outhouses at each stop, turned out to be a blessing in disguise due to the bug my intestines were battling]) and deep fried poultry was right there just begging to be bought! No really, I am usually not up for digesting whole birds I can certainly admire cultures that utilize much more of the animals than many some other (more wasteful) cultures do. I am also kinda curious about the economics of this, that is the turn around time has got to be alot shorter especially if these are indeed chicks and not fully mature. Also is there a greater demand for these due to thier being more tender (assuming Khmer care anything about their meat being tender [yes the younger the more tender, same idea as veal]).
